Kennesaw State University congratulates the more than 5,600 students named to the Spring 2018 Dean's List. Students enrolled at least 9 credit hours and with a grade point average of at least 3.5 were named to the list.

More than 2,000 students earned bachelor's degrees from Georgia State University during the spring 2018 semester.

To be eligible for the Dean's List, degree-seeking students must have earned a GPA of at least 3.5 for a minimum of nine semester hours of academic credit taken at Georgia State during the fall or spring term with no incompletes for the semester. Eligible students must have a minimum GPA of 2.0 for all classes taken at Georgia State.

Jacksonville State University was hit by a destructive EF-3 tornado in the middle of the spring 2018 semester, but that didn't keep 2,079 students from earning top grades.

University of North Georgia (UNG) President Bonita C. Jacobs recognized more than 1,300 students who achieved a 4.0 GPA during the spring 2018 semester. Dean's List Spring 2018

The following area residents were among approximately 335 students who graduated from Georgia Southwestern State University during the Spring 2018 Commencement Ceremony held on Friday, May 4 in Convocation Hall of the Student Success Center.

The University of North Georgia (UNG) graduated 14 dual enrollment students this spring, its highest number since the program was instituted.

The Communication Department at Eastern Connecticut State University held its annual Celebration of Excellence on April 19. During the event, students were inducted into the communication honor society, Lambda Pi Eta, and awards were given for excellence in different areas of the communication field.

More than 300 undergraduate students presented their research at the Georgia State Undergraduate Research Conference (GSURC) on Thursday, April 12. Students from a wide variety of disciplines shared their findings through oral presentations, posters, artistic displays and musical performances.

Eastern Connecticut State University recognized the academic achievements of African, Latino, Asian and Native American students on May 5 during its sixth annual Inclusive Excellence Awards ceremony. Award were given out and more than 200 students were recognized for achieving GPAs of 3.5 or higher.

Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) student Amelia Cornell was named one of two Outstanding Business Graduates in the On-Campus Program at GSW's 2018 Honors and Recognition Ceremony on April 16 in Jackson Hall.

Amelia Cornell was recently named Georgia Southwestern State University's (GSW) Outstanding Scholar, the university's highest academic honor. Cornell, along with other top students, were recognized in a special ceremony by Chancellor Steve Wrigley during the February 2017 meeting of the University System of Georgia's Board of Regents.

A total of 12,594 students enrolled during the 2017 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.
